The Law Offices of David G. Concannon, LLC is currently comprised of three attorneys:  David Concannon, Matthew Charles and Jonathan Cohen.  Please visit the pages for each attorney for additional information.

David G. Concannon

David G. Concannon practices in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property, sports and recreation law, product liability and trade secret litigation.

Since establishing the firm in 2002, Mr. Concannon has achieved nearly $40 million in settlements and verdicts on behalf of the firm’s business clients.  He has also successfully defended more than $110 million in claims asserted against the firm’s clients.  Mr. Concannon achieved one of the top 50 jury verdicts in the United States in 2005, in a case that also achieved the second highest jury verdict in Pennsylvania in 2005 and one of the highest jury verdicts ever recorded in a tortious interference case. 

Mr. Concannon has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" in Business Litigation by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers every year since 2006.  This honor followed his recognition in 2005 as a "Rising Star" in the area of Business Litigation. 

Matthew T. Charles

Matthew T. Charles joined the law firm in early 2008.  Mr. Charles practices in the areas of commercial litigation, intellectual property, sports and recreation law, product liability and trade secret litigation.

Mr. Charles had his own practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the fields of civil litigation, criminal defense, estate administration, business formation, tax and real estate before joining the firm.  Prior to this, he worked for the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Clinic for Chester County, Pennsylvania, where he provided pro bono representation of indigent clients charged with crimes within the county.

Mr. Charles is a certified scuba diver, a fan of all sports and a participant in several outdoor activities.  He is passionate about certain New York sports teams, which is unfortunate but overlooked because of his talents as a lawyer.   He attends Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies games when compelled to do so. 

Jonathan Z. Cohen

Jonathan Z. Cohen joined the firm in 2009.  Mr. Cohen practices in the areas of commercial, employment, products liability, and sports and recreation law.

Between 2007 and 2009, Mr. Cohen served as an associate in the Philadelphia office of a regional law firm, where he practiced commercial, criminal, employment, health, and labor law. 

During law school, Mr. Cohen worked for the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).  At ICE, Mr. Cohen worked primarily on national security law issues.  Between college and law school, Mr. Cohen served as a legal assistant for the law firm of Kohn, Swift & Graf, P.C. in Philadelphia.
