David G. Concannon

David G. Concannon practices in the areas of business law, litigation, sports and recreation law, personal injury, product liability, intellectual property and trade secret litigation.  He is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Idaho; the United States Courts of Appeals for the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 9th and 11th Circuits; and the United States Supreme Court.

Since establishing the firm in 2002, Mr. Concannon has achieved tens of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts on behalf of plaintiffs, and he has successfully defended more than $250 million in claims asserted against defendants, in litigation across more than one-third of the United States.   

Mr. Concannon has not lost a trial since 1995.

Mr. Concannon also has extensive experience in the law as it relates to exploration.  In 2002, he founded Explorer Consulting, a highly specialized consulting practice that advises clients on “the business of exploration.”  Mr. Concannon has led multiple international expeditions, as well as having served as the General Counsel to both The Explorers Club and the X-Prize Foundation.

Matthew T. Charles

Matthew T. Charles joined the firm in 2008 and became a partner in 2016.  Mr. Charles focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, primarily in the areas of product liability, sports and recreation law, intellectual property and trade secret litigation.  Mr. Charles also includes corporate law, employment, real estate and criminal defense.  

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Charles had his own practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, focusing primarily in civil litigation, criminal defense, estate administration, business formation, tax and real estate.  He worked for the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Clinic for Chester County, Pennsylvania, where he provided representation of indigent clients in criminal cases. 

Mr. Charles is a certified scuba diver, a sports fan, musician and photographer.
